Frequently asked questions

Adiponexin 18

Why is Lactobacillus reuteri included in Adiponexin?

Our proprietary strain, Lactobacillus reuteri LRDR™, is included to help support a balanced gut microbiome and overall digestive wellness.

How does Adiponexin support body composition?

Adiponexin combines four key components that are designed to help support healthy fat distribution and muscle maintenance as part of a balanced lifestyle. While research is ongoing, studies suggest that ingredients like L. reuteri may play a role in gut balance and microbial diversity.

Why does my waistline seem smaller even if my weight hasn’t changed?

Sometimes body measurements change even when overall weight remains stable. This may reflect a shift in body composition—such as less abdominal fat and more lean tissue—which can be a positive outcome.

Why is muscle preservation emphasized?

Maintaining muscle is important for metabolism, strength, and mobility. Focusing only on “weight loss” can reduce both fat and muscle. Supporting muscle while managing fat is a more balanced approach to overall wellness.

What if I do not want to gain muscle with Adiponexin?

Adiponexin is not designed to promote excessive muscle growth. Its focus is on supporting a healthy balance of muscle and fat, which can be important for strength and vitality as we age.

Can I combine Adiponexin with my current collagen?

Yes. Adiponexin contains marine collagen, but it can also be taken alongside other collagen products if desired.

Are there interactions with other medications?

There are no known common interactions, but we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement.

Why do probiotics sometimes cause gas or bloating at first?

When starting probiotics, some people may notice mild, temporary digestive changes such as gas or bloating. This usually improves as the body adjusts. If discomfort persists, try reducing the serving size and gradually increasing over time.

Do Adiponexin capsules need refrigeration?

There is no harm in refrigerating the supplements, but it is not necessary. They should, however, be stored in a cool, dry environment, out of the direct sun and with the jar kept closed to keep moisture away from the capsules.

Why take Adiponexin with a meal that contains fats or oils?

Fats and oils can assist with the absorption of the carotenoid component, astaxanthin. This could be olive oil in a salad, butter, a fatty meat or fish, or other oils or fats. If you include a fish oil supplement in your daily routine, taking it simultaneously with Adiponexin is another option to assist with astaxanthin absorption.

Is hyaluronic acid digestible?

Hyaluronic acid is broken down in the digestive system, and smaller fragments may be absorbed and contribute to hydration and tissue support.

How do I take Adiponexin?

We recommend taking 2 capsules in the morning and 2 in the evening with a fat- or oil-containing meal. Some people prefer to take all 4 together. Consistency in taking 4 daily is most important, so please follow what works best with your daily regimen.

What allergens are in Adiponexin?

Adiponexin contains marine collagen sourced from fish. Adiponexin is made without milk, egg, shellfish, tree nuts, wheat, peanuts, or soy.

Is this safe to take while I am trying to get pregnant, pregnant or nursing?

Please consult your healthcare provider before use if you are pregnant, nursing, or planning to become pregnant.

If I miss a dose, should I double up?

Yes, it is safe to double up if you miss taking a dose. There is no need to exceed 4 capsules a day, as Adiponexin is formulated in scientifically backed amounts of each ingredient (in 4 capsules a day) for maximum benefit. Do not take Adiponexin if you are trying to get pregnant, are pregnant, or are nursing.

I currently take a probiotic. Should I continue taking that?

Yes, you may continue other probiotics. Different strains can complement each other in supporting gut balance.

Why do I need to take 4 capsules/day?

The serving size is designed to provide the intended amount of each ingredient across the day.

How long will one jar of Adiponexin last?

One jar contains 120 capsules and will last about 30 days at the suggested use of 4 capsules daily.

GSM-Biotic 21

What is in GSM-Biotic?

GSM-Biotic is an oral probiotic formulation to help maintain a balanced vaginal microbiome and overall microbial wellness. GSM-Biotic contains two keystone probiotic microbes, Lactobacillus crispatus and Lactobacillus reuteri, combined with hyaluronic acid in small, vegetarian, orally consumed capsules.

How is GSM-Biotic different from other probiotics?

The unique, three-component formulation provides hyaluronic acid, with L. crispatus plus proprietary L. reuteri LRDR™, strains, rarely found together in other supplements.

Why include Lactobacillus crispatus?

L. crispatus is dominant in a healthy vaginal microbiome. Modern factors can lower its prevalence. Re‑introducing it may support normal vaginal comfort and microbial balance.

Why include hyaluronic acid?

Hyaluronic acid is a moisture‑attracting polysaccharide. Preliminary studies suggest that taking it orally may boost systemic hydration, including in delicate mucosal tissues.

Why include L. reuteri?

Modern factors can lower its prevalence. L. reuteri LRDR™ may complement L. crispatus by helping maintain a healthy vaginal environment and supporting gut microbial balance.

Why include FOS?

FOS (fructooligosaccharides) serves as a prebiotic substrate to help microbes thrive.

How quickly might I notice changes?

Individual timelines vary; some people see differences within several weeks, while others may require six to twelve weeks of consistent use.

How long should I continue taking GSM-Biotic?

Benefits tend to fade once supplementation stops, suggesting ongoing intake is needed for sustained support.

Is it okay to take with other Realize Therapeutics products?

Yes. GSM-Biotic pairs well with other products. Consult your healthcare professional if you have health conditions.

Will I get too much L. reuteri?

No established upper limit exists, but evidence beyond ~40 billion CFU per day is limited.

Should GSM-Biotic capsules be refrigerated?

While GSM-Biotic is shelf-stable for transport, it’s best to keep it in the refrigerator, and always keep the bottle tightly closed.

Can I take probiotic products if I’m on prescription medications or antibiotics?

Yes, but separate any antibiotic dose by at least 2 hours. Always consult your healthcare professional before starting a new supplement, especially if you take prescription drugs, are pregnant, nursing, or have a medical condition.

Will probiotics transfer to my partner?

Research on probiotic transfer between partners is preliminary; definitive human data are not yet available.

Can men take GSM-Biotic?

Yes. Modern factors can lower the prevalence of Lactobacillus species, and oral consumption of hyaluronic acid supports wellness in men and women.

Can children take this product?

No, we do not recommend this product for children.

Is it okay to put a capsule inside my vagina?

No. The capsules are intended for oral use only and have not been tested for intravaginal application.

Who should be cautious with GSM-Biotic?

The product is not intended for pregnant or nursing women. Individuals with known histamine intolerance should consult a healthcare professional before use, as L. reuteri can produce small amounts of histamine.

Who should consult a healthcare professional before use?

Consult your healthcare professional if you are pregnant, nursing, have histamine intolerance, take prescription medication, or have a medical condition.

Why does it include magnesium stearate?

Safe and widely used in supplements, medicines, and foods, a small amount of magnesium stearate is included to facilitate consistency in the production process.

Do some people experience side effects?

Beyond common temporary digestive changes, no serious adverse effects have been reported. Nausea and stomach upset are relatively common when first introducing new probiotics to the body. Symptoms are usually temporary and part of the gut adjusting to the new bacterial balance.

Should GSM-Biotic be taken with food or without food?

The product can be taken with or without food. Avoid taking probiotics while eating or drinking hot foods or beverages, as it may kill the microbes.

ReuteriBiotic 17

What is in ReuteriBiotic?

ReuteriBiotic contains high counts of the important gastrointestinal microbe, Lactobacillus reuteri, that Dr. Davis has been talking about, making yogurt with, and studying in humans and animals. Because L. reuteri, as well as many other bacterial species, is susceptible to common antibiotics, many have lost this microbe and thereby all of its potential benefits. ReuteriBiotic is our way of restoring this important microbe.

Does ReuteriBiotic have to be refrigerated?

No, it is shelf-stable. Store in a cool, dry place with the cap tightly closed.

Should I take ReuteriBiotic with food or without food? And any specific time of day?

It can be taken with or without food. To avoid reducing potency, do not consume with very hot foods or beverages.

Why are there such high numbers of microbes in ReuteriBiotic?

Probiotic products often contain high counts of live microbes to help ensure that sufficient amounts reach the gut to provide support.

Why add inulin when making yogurt?

Inulin is a prebiotic fiber that helps nourish probiotic bacteria during fermentation.

Can I take ReuteriBiotic with other supplements?

Yes. Most vitamins and minerals are compatible. If you are taking antimicrobial supplements, consult your healthcare provider.

Is it safe to take ReuteriBiotic with other probiotics?

Yes. Different probiotic strains may complement each other when used together.

Why take ReuteriBiotic if I already take Adiponexin?

ReuteriBiotic provides additional L. reuteri in different concentrations. Some people may prefer to use both products, depending on their goals.

Is it safe to take ReuteriBiotic with fermented foods?

Yes. Fermented foods and probiotics can complement each other in supporting gut wellness.

What if I feel stomach upset?

Mild digestive changes, such as gas or nausea, can sometimes occur when starting probiotics. If discomfort persists, reduce the serving size or consult your healthcare provider.

Should I anticipate side-effects from taking ReuteriBiotic?

Beyond the nausea, bloating, and diarrhea that can occur when initiating any probiotic, we know of no side effects of supplementing ReuteriBiotic. You may have heard Dr. Davis say that nearly all hunter-gatherer humans and mammals have this microbe–it’s most modern humans that have lost this microbe and thereby its potential benefits. Restoring factors that should have been part of the human experience all along is therefore typically not associated with adverse effects.

Why have modern people lost L. reuteri?

Factors such as widespread antibiotic use and changes in diet may have reduced its natural presence in the gut.

Can I take ReuteriBiotic during pregnancy?

Please consult your healthcare provider before use if you are pregnant, nursing, or planning to become pregnant.

Can I make “yogurt” with ReuteriBiotic?

Yes, absolutely. You can use the microbes in ReuteriBiotic as a starter for “yogurt” making. Of course, it is not really yogurt in the conventional sense, but a fermented dairy product that looks and smells like yogurt. In our analyses of the yogurts made from ReuteriBiotic, we obtain approximately 300 billion CFUs (microbial counts) per ½-cup serving (120 ml). Yogurt made from ReuteriBiotic will be more sour than conventional yogurt because the extended fermentation method we use to achieve high bacterial counts also converts nearly all the lactose to lactic acid, accounting for the acidic or sour flavor. Feel free to add blueberries, strawberries, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, and healthy non-caloric sweeteners such as monk fruit, allulose, or stevia to soften the sourness.

Why does the powder in the ReuteriBiotic capsule sometimes appear clumpy. Is it still okay?

In some instances, excessive humidity can cause the powder inside the capsule to clump together. However, the formulation remains viable and effective. If using to make yogurt, use a spoon to gently break up the powder before mixing. Be sure to keep the bottle tightly closed and keep the desiccant moisture-absorbing pack in the bottle, and store in a cool dry place or refrigerator.

Why choose 10 billion vs. 20 billion?

ReuteriBiotic comes in two strengths—10 billion CFU and 20 billion CFU—so you can choose the serving size that fits your personal preference.

Why does ReuteriBiotic include magnesium stearate?

Safe and widely used in supplements, medicines and foods, a small amount of magnesium stearate is included to facilitate consistency in the production process.
